Hi, we're planning on going to Legoland in the first week of July (before English school holidays start). Can anyone recommend a campsite? And how soon would we need to book - I get the impression that english campsites book up really quickly?
We'll be travelling down from Fife, and stopping in the Peak District on the way down, plus maybe another stop if necessary, then near Llandudno on the way back up, so any recommendations in those areas would be appreciated too!

We went last year and stayed at Hurley Riverside park - that seems to be the popular place to stay. It was nearby, but I thought it had a childrens playground for DD95) and DS (2) so in that respect was a little disappointed but it was my own fault for assuming that! It was clean and says they have discounted legoland tickets.
The year before we also stopped around there, but thiat time at Highclere farm That was a small, fab site with things for the children to play on. We made the mistake of driving through Slough to get to Legoland so it took longer that planned; if going again would try and avoid the centre. That site was also very near a train station with the train line into London - just 25 mins away and the children travelled for free!!!
