Caravanning with a one year old

Loved caravanning with DD as a small baby last summer. She was still small enough to sleep in her carrycot from the pram....but what to do this year??? She will be one yr old this month and is starting to pull herself up so I'm worried that a bed guard won't do the trick....she'll just climb over it, won't she? No space for the travelcot. We have a 5 bed caravan and I suggested sleeping with DD on a double bed at the back but DH not happy with that arrangement. How do the rest of you manage in a caravan with a toddler? Thanks

I slept with my toddler and the 2 older DC slept in the kids bedroom, and DH slept on the bed that folds out in the living area.

It is funny how he learnt to like it when he had a double bed and TV to himself

we always went to large mobile homes in france and used a bedguard - seemed to work fine - though i wouldn't do it on top bunk. my older two were always quite into climbing

DS had a double bed to himslef. He is now 3 but would fall out of a single so still has the double made up with DD on a bunk above

Just put her in a single with a duvet on the floor in case she falls out.
