Anyone know of any sites in Derbyshire / Peak District that allow campfires?

Having a campfire really makes the camping experience perfect me, so much so that the kids and I almost don't want to use a site if we can't have a campfire

Peak District is only about an hour from here so it's perfect for a quick weekend away so anyone know of any sites there that will allow us to have to have a campfire?

How about Middle Hills Farm

Haven't been there, but I've just been looking for basically the same thing - it's just not the same unless you can get all primitive with a fire is it...

Has showers / toilet block, pub about 1/2 mile away which does meals, & a unit on site that serves drinks - in fact I may see you there!

How about Farm in Matlock? Not only does it allow fires but it has peacocks and llamas. We had lots of fun there, even tho it rained pretty solidly every day.

Will have a look at those, thanks

I can't wait for it to get warmer so that we can start camping again...

Rivendale near Ashbourne is fantastic! shop and restaurant/bar on site, Tissington trail on doorstep, and allowed fires in the meadows
