Camping for a month???

Haven have offered us the whole of may for £169 for all of us including passes up to 8 people.

Do you think that us too long?

DH wouldn't come for that long but was thinking about him getting the train home after 2 weeks and maybe having somebody else come and stay with me (couldn't manage for long on my own with a 1 year old and a 2 year old!)

Would we be mad?

sorry but i would hate it for a month - i'd miss my home comforts far too much. But then i'm a fair weather camper, who has only managed 4 nights so far!

Sounds awesome to me! We're tentatively planning an epic camping trek this summer followed by a trip to Oz though so perhaps I am just saying that to make myself feel better!

Wow a month at Haven you are braver than me!

We did 7 nights in wales last summer , was too long for us , mainly due to the weather.

I don't know about it. It does seem very long!

We would have electric (which is a new experience for me when camping!), so could bring stuff like the portable DVD player, laptop (and i think Haven have wireless internet if you pay slightly more).

The thought of no housework for a month is really apealing though!

It will be great if the weather is good and the kids sleep OK...

I'd go for it. If the weather is truly dreadful you can always leave early, right? It's not like they'll be guarding the gates ...or will they tell you off if they discover you've sneaked off home without permission

They said we can come and go when we want. We can come for a week and then go home and come back if we want and can leave the tent pitched which is ideal.
