Booked Featherdown Farm for Easter. This is a big step for DH!

Dh has been totally adverse to camping of any sort. He likes the creature comforts. However, he has agreed to a 5 day break at Featherdown Farm (Billingsmoor Farm, Butterliegh in Devon) after I explained that there was a toilet in the 'tent'. I do admit though to some poetic license vis a vis the showers.

DH "is there a toilet in the tent?
Me "yes there is"
DH "and is there a shower"
Me "yes there is".

In my defense M'Lord, he didn't say "in the tent" at the end of the second question did he??

Hilarious! My dh also won't do camping because of the loo situation and we are going to book Featherdown in Lancashire (Easter hols too) - it's a HUGE step and I can't wait!

Weare doing featherdown in Holland over Easter. Totally forgot about loo issues LOL! This is actually a big step for me because dh has wanted to do camping for ages now!

We went last Easter in one in Leics and the main bedroom were blooming freezing, kids were cosy in their cabin beds but main bedroom just had canvas walls, could see through the gaps in the wooden floor. This year we've bought a touring caravan, after tenting for 2 years! Take hats (for bed), hot water bottles, thermals, socks, etc..... Sorry just want you to be prepared.
