Can anyone recommend family campsites in this region please? DCs of 4 and 6 therefore interested in swimming pools, proximity to beach, play areas etc but don't want noisy night-times. Will probably be going in school summer hols. Thank you.

Domaine des Ormes is a nice but big site in Dol de Bretagne (Near St Malo so good for ferry port) Lots of stuff going on (kids clubs etc) and lots of swimming pools!!

Keycamp and Canvas are there but you can take your own tent too (I think!)

I've been to ormes. Great fun, not near a beach, though. Agree thaT THE pOOls are great and there's a good play area.

I was in a caravna so not sure about the noise for those in tents.

have you looked on ukcampsites.co.uk? i found des ormes little noisy a night - teenagers leaving club - not very bad but we were in mobile. went there 2 or 3 times though - good facilities- though agree, a drive to beaches. les deux fountaine nice - quieter and you can walk through fields to beach. carnac area nice, but site we went to prob bit noisy for you (grand metairie).
