So I've been trying to persuade DH all summer that we should upgrade to an Outwell tent with a universal inner, so we can all sleep together (DCs are still quite young).
This week we had two nights in a Pod, and all slept together. Never a-bloody-gain. It was boiling hot, it was a PITA climbing over sleeping children to get to bed, and then every time DH got up in the night for a wee (something to do with being over 40 ), it set off a rippling effect across the line of airbeds so that by morning I felt as though I'd spent the night at sea.
Come back separate zippy compartments, all is forgiven.
(Pod was a godsend in the rain, though!)
