Ok Ladies, tell me the benefits of camping and what do I need to buy

We are considering camping as a holiday this year. We have 2 ds's age 11 and 22m is it a good idea to camp with a toddler still in nappies and also what do I need to buy to make sure we are all safe etc?

Best time is when they're in nappies because you don't have to worry about dashing to the loo when toilet training.
