Help needed with decision....tent or van?

We have our 2 week holiday booked at holmsley beginning 15th of August.
We had planned on going in the tent, with EHU. The weather has been so awful I am now considering taking the caravan instead. Just think it would be easier if it stays really wet.
Now, I dont really want to take the van. We were all excited about camping. Also the van hasn't been towed for a year so will need a service. This will be best part of £200, I would need to sort it this week, and the money would come off our spending money.
So, should we toughen up and take the tent, or get the van sorted?

If you have a caravan I would take it other wise whatys the point in having a van, take a small pup tent for the kids if allowed or an awning and you can sit out in it for that camping experience

Was going to say tent if it was a huge one, but no... a van is so much easier.

Thought you would all go for the tent....daren't show this to DH now .
Think I am going to be stubborn optimistic and take the tent.
