Do i have to wait for my tent to dry before packing it back in its bag?

It's not on a site, just in the garden at mo!

yes otherwise it goes mouldy... good luck with the weather!

what if the rain never stops?! (baaaad weather predicted) i don't want my grass to go all yellow!

Personally i would wait for it to dry as it will stay damp in the bag for a while and could start to smell.

No point in putting away wet if you don't have too

Ivykaty44 · 26/07/2009 14:40

wait till the rain stops and then dry of with a couple of tea towels to make sure it is dry and grass free rain till tuesday.....

Well if rain never stops, take it down and let it dry in house before putting it away.

Frizbe · 26/07/2009 14:44

Oh yes I recall having wet tents either lurking in the house or the garage before now (thinks about the year of many floods during which we were camping....)

thank goodness its only a 3 man and not the mofo one then!!!!

did you sleep in it last night then?

MerlinsBeard · 26/07/2009 22:16

Yeah we did Nappyzone, my and DS1&". Was nice actually - aside from the REALLY loud cows

It's all been packed away and my sis is going to hang it over her bannister at home to dry

Now to find a site that isn't full when we can go!

supersalsatrawb, my bannister is too small but my sister has taken it and is hanging it out. can't believe how easy it was to put up and then taking it down in the rain only took 15 mins and we have never been camping before that we remember!

I hope our mofo tent is that simple!!!
