help with campingaz stove

Hi there, does anyone one know if I can use a 3.9 kilo propane bottle with a campingaz chef stove? I think it's ok, but just wanted to check

2 questions
is campingaz propane or butane?
do they have the same connections?

if campingaz is propane and and the connections are the same,then i cant imagine there being a problem.

i think it can use both, although the campingaz 907/904 bottles are butane. Just wanted to see if anyone had used the propane with this particular stove.
