5/6 Man Tent

Can anybody please recommend a five or six man tent with three sleeping compartments and a reasonable sized living area.Dh and I happy to share a pod with dd aged 4 but our teenagers certainly don't fancy cosying up together!TIA

NB when tents are supposed to sleep 3 or 4 in a compartment, it's actually often more comfortable for 2, so you may be looking at a supposedly 8/9 person tent for your needs - however there are good ones out there and a lots of sales on, so I think you can do it.

Yep, did consider the two tent option deepgoat but am a tight arse and don't want to have to cough up for two pitches!Jam-love that tent too!

Forgive me if you are a camping nerd already but if not, remember to check reviews and things like hydrostatic head rating (eg 2000mm) you want at least 2000 for british camping. It's possible to get a large and very cheap tent that seems like a bargain but then leaks or is too unstable and buffets around in wind. Coleman, outwell and vango are among the good makes IMO - it's worth looking for a quality tent that's reduced in a sale because it's last year's model or end of line.

Don't forget that lots of campsites don't charge per tent any more they charge per person. So 3 of you on one pitch and 2 on another, would cost the same as 5 all on one pitch iyswim. Plus you would get alot more room.
