Advice on tents

Hi,

We are looking to buy our first tent and we are after some recommendations. We have a max budget of about £180 and we want an 8 berth tent. Any suggestions anybody?

Any good? These are the results of some bored googling, I hasten to add, not from any personal experience, we have a smaller tent.

Can you get along to a tent show? Eg. Yeomans Outdoors or Cotswold Outdoor do them. We had a tent in mind and essentially went to view it, but ended up getting a different one when we saw them pitched (in a brisk wind!). It is really worth the journey and you can make a day out of it.

I sometimes wondered about simply wandering around a nearby campsite and eyeing up which tents looked the best (for buying later, obviously!), but would probably get chucked out!
