Called in at Croyde on our way home from Cornwall at the weekend and thought it was lovely. Has anyone stayed there and would you recommend a site? Looked in at Bay View Caravan Park which seemed very nice. Would welcome suggestions as planning to book our next trip this week!

Sorry havent camped there so can't recommend a site, we used to stay in a cottage in Saunton just round the corner. I just wanted to say that it is beautiful but just be careful if you swim in the sea as Croyde does have powerful tides, so don't take risks and stick between the flags! You could check reviews on UK Campsite?

we have stayed in big meadow and hidden valley, both lovely sites but about 15 mins in the car from croyde.

Been to Croyde many many times in last 20 years. really good camp site at Ruda Holiay Park ( 01271 890671). Short stroll to fab beach and 10 min walk to great pubs. Ruda has good camping facilities, everything you could want.
