we did this loads when we were little have not done with mine cos my ds2 does not sleep

haven't done it due to the prices. they charge £10.00 per person and as there are 5 of us it works out more than a normal pitch on a site! But, I think if you have a small family and are just starting out camping it may be a good bet as you can use the facilities inside the actual YHA i.e there cooking facility, fridge, freezer and tv room. If you decide that you hated camping then at least you might not have bought all the stuff needed for it IYKWIM. I like the idea that if you have children under 6 you don't get kicked out for the day like the other hostellers (not sure if thats a word).

We are going to Arundel in June...............with a 2 yr old and an 8 week old!! having the facilities made us decide to go there.

That is handy to know as we are 5 so maybe not an option as we are doing this wkend for £50.
