And I don't mean hen night type stuff! Just 3 old friends getting together for a natter, few drinks with a few walks thrown in.

Was thinking maybe in the lakes (but north is a must) - anyone know any nice sites? No need for great 'facilities', oh and trees/forest areas would be a bonus.

Upper Booth Farm in Edale, Derbyshire is one of those in the cool camp guide.

In the lake district my favourite is the NT one at Langdale, great pub and fab walking.

for the second time tonight I'm suggesting Delamere forest - ou don't need to be a c&CC member to go on it. Also take a look at Eskdale.

Thank you, I will check those out.

Serin - is upper booth the one with the visitor's centre with the stream running through? I went to one in edale last year, it may have been the other one though.

Supersal - I would really love to visit that area, but I think it's a little far for us to travel on this occasion.
