Proper camping in a teepee?

Help a camping novice (since girl guide days anyway) out please! I was looking at a vango teepee and loving it. There are 3 of us (ds is 3) Probably only for weekends, at least at first, but in UK. Is it worth trying this? or is the lack of an inner tent a problem? Thanks!

Hi,

I have the small Vango Teepee, we bought it for the kids. Whilst it is great, I wouldn't fancy sleeping in it. The problem with not having a fly sheet is if you toucht the sides (and it's raining) the water comes in. Plus there's a pole in the middle so it is harder to keep away from the sides.

Makes a fantastic play tent though!! Might be ok if the weather is fantastic but in this country??

Good luck x
