Calling all Outwell Vermont L owners!

We are looking at buying this tent (I have come to my senses and decided that the Arkansas 7 really is too big!) but I have a few queries that I can't seem to find answers to so I was wondering if you could help?

Is the wardrobe removeable or do you have to have it up?

If it does come out will the carpet cover that area?

Do the 2 bedrooms interconnect ie could I fold up the divider to make one big bedroom?

Are the low light windows a pain (thinking about having a 3 year old and a 1 year old in there).

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I don't know first hand, but if you've not seen it already I thought this might interest you - it has a 360 degree video of inside the tent that you can scroll round.

From that, the wardrobe looks removable and based on the dotted line dividing the bedrooms (rather than a solid line) my hunch would be they can be merged but that is only a hunch I'm afraid.

Thanks ZoeC, I found that and it's brilliant but I'm working on the same hunches as you!

I'd really like to see it pitched but can't find anywhere with one on display.

I'm pretty sure that camping world nr Frensham in Surrey had a Vermont XL set up when we went on Wednesday. They had most of the Outwell range there but are not doing the Family size Vango tents this year as there were too many faulty returns last year.

They also have the Kyhams and Wynnsters.

You could try ringing Go Outdoors in Bristol, see if they have one. Can't tell from the picture but they do have a lot up.

I didn't know they'd opened up there - will definitely give them a ring. Thanks for that.

No luck!

The nearest place to have a Vermont on display is Highbridge caravans but they only have an XL. It's about 1 3/4 hours from here so quite a trek.

Think we may have to go and see it though as it'll be pretty similar to the L and will give is a good enough idea whether it's the one for us or not!
