Camp this Summer with 3 DC and a newborn?

I'll be in my own with them and DC4 due first week of July so would probably aim to go in August.

How old are the three DCs?

To be honest, if you're going to be alone with them anyway (at home) it will probably do you all the world of good to get a change of scene and a little variety.

If you're going to be breastfeeding it will be dead simple having the newborn there, the thing I'd worry about most would be how tired you will possibly be, especially if the other three DCs are very young and will need a lot of supervision and help and looking after from you.

Was bf, but ds4 was weaned onto solids on a campsite LOL, formula / solids doable but takes more planning.

I would say go for it, remembering that baby could be late so book as late in August as you can, and that you will want rest so plan in somewhere that can maybe contain a park, food, decent babay facillities (V V Important) etc.

The only issue I ahd was absolute panic attacks when the eather deteriorated and I convinced myself ds4 would freeze (no chance LOL, hormones though).
