Please recommend me a tent

We plan to go camping a few times over the summer and need a new tent. Our current tent is meant to sleep 8. It has 2 bedrooms and a central compartment. In the instructions all 8 people sleep in the 2 bedrooms leaving central compartment empty - no way this is possible! Last year the 6 of us slept 2 in each area. The heavens opened both evenings and it was chaos with bedding everywhere and no space to sit and eat etc..

So I need a tent preferably with 3 bedrooms and a central area. Kids will be 11, 9, 5 & 3 in the summer plus we have a 4 month old puppy. Please help!

My friends got this one last summer It has 4 double compartments and huuuuuuuuuuuge "lounge" I am so , and may get one for us as we are outgrowing our old Khyam a bit

Oooh ooh I've just bought a Khyam-am so excited!

We had the older version of that Khyam, yes get that LOL (we have 4 kids also)

For a cheaper idea get the Khyam Ontario 8 or Sun valley * (Outwell) foff ebay second hand

Oh the Khyams- get the porch add on, massive difference, and try and get the under groundsheet if you can, protects the SIG and makes for better sell on value if used

Thanks - just had a look at the kansas 8 - looks great. Why can I not find it on the Khyam website and only at Outdoor Megastore?

Has anyone got any experience of Coleman evolva? Dh likes the look of that one. has main area with pods coming off rather than tunnel like.

We've got the Outwell Montana 12, it is massive!

No experience of the Evolva but we have the Coleman Weathermaster and thats fab. You can buy extra bedrooms as I understand it. We like all the un-zippage you can do - makes it almost like a gazebo when all the doors are unzipped.
