Is this the bargain of the year or seriously rubbish quality and that's why it's so cheap?

But the Halford's one has a better hydrostatic head [trys to cheer NKF up}.

WE have that set OP and it is fine for a weekend away.
We had showers on one of the nights we used ours and it was fine and the air beds were really comfy.
Get an electric air pump too, or one for the cigarette lighter to inflate teh beds, have fun!!

I noticed that about the head too. Not sure what it means but felt very cheered up.

Forgot about needing an air pump. Glad to hear the set can resist rain. Did you put all the beds in one room together? Feel a bit nervous about the children being separate.

we have one adult with one dc in a bedroom and other adult with other dcs in other room until they were bigger. you can always have the bedrooms unzipped so you areonly a step away.
the best pumpp we bought is one that you charge up before you go, and my goodness it pumps fast. Cannot remember the name of it, but have wasted many a year on the hand pumps and all that stuff. This just pops into the mattress, you switch it on, step back and watch the thing inflate a double in just a couple of mins. Its fab.

I'd go for something with 2000 HH and a better groundsheet - beginner or not, you'd be better off staying dry

The head means that your one is more waterproof than the Argos one.

It'll be me and the kids so I guess we'll have to squeeze up together somehow. If you can remember the name of the pump, that would be great. Thanks.
