My DH is in Cornwall now with my DCs - it's fine. We do have heating for really cold spells though.

thanks, nontoxic. i just cant imagine it with wet clothes and muddy boots etc. we were spoiled last year and only went away if it was hot!

any tips for out of season camping?

think we have a heater, but not sure if it works. thinking of getting an electric hookup and using our little fan heater from home for a quick blast of heat now and then.

I'm a total wimp, so can't advise on out of season camping, other than the fact that we always have electric hook up and the van has central heating.

Note: I'm not actually there ATM.

We are hiring one next week so let's hope it isn't too cold!!

Still haven't decided where to go - North Norfolk is looking like our choice at the moment if anyone has any recommendations!
