It was fab.
we went last yr with a 5yr and a3yr old.
Alot of fun for the kids- tho your 11mo would prob be fine most places.

The music was secondary- but in the eve there was some good stuff.

Well worhta go- small and frinedly and lost of fun.

Really want to go next year (can't afford it this year). let us know if you have a good time.

Hello! We went last year and have just bought our tickets for this year! Yay! Have you seen that Justin aka Mr Tumble will be there? That's what really helped me decide to buy tickets. We have 4 year old twins, and a 2 year old toddler, so they were 3 and 1 last year.

As far as taking a little one - you'll be fine. My only advice would be to pitch your tent next to the main walkway, so you don't have to navigate all the guyropes with your buggy. Also, take tonnes of sunscreen (am hoping!)and many many babywipes. You'll have a great time!!

Hi there,

We're planning to go with our 13 month old... first camping attempt with him - eek! Is there any kind of ear protection for babies more like a normal ear plug? My DS won't keep the headphone type ones on for more than 3 seconds...

Also, can he sleep safely on an airbed?

any advice welcome!

DomesticG0ddess · 25/07/2010 22:25

We're going - we'll have DS (3.7) and I'm 28 weeks pg!

sash29, I don't know I'm afraid as this is our first festival since DS was born, so we didn't go when he was a baby.... I would have thought he would be fine on an airbed if you pad it around the sides incase he falls off - were you thinking of sharing with him, or his own airbed? Just that any movement you make will disturb him. I've never heard of the ear plugs for babies, not sure someone would make them, can imagine all sorts of problems, perhaps you'll just have to avoid going to close to the speakers! Have fun!
