I'm thinking of buying one of these for DH but was wondering if they are as good as they seem ? Also, is it worth getting the 2.5 litre one or would the smaller one do ?

oh they are wonderful!
once you get the hang of them you can happily spend a whole morning just boiling water, and then filling up vacum flasks because you don't know what to do with it!

The only trouble is that (AFAIK) you can only buy aluminium ones not steel. Otherwise I would have one for sure, they work wonderfully.

Oh I do want one, well I'm sure DH does I mean !

Thanks for mentioning the alumunium bit Takver, I hadn't thought about that. Having had a look on google, it appears they are bringing out a stainless steel one shortly so I am going to hold fire so to speak.
