Hydrostatic head

Thinking about purchasing a Lichfield tent with a hydrostatic head of 2000mm. Is this level good enough to withstand persistent heavy rain and strong winds in the UK or should we look for tent with a higher hydrostatic head?

TIA

Higher.

I wouldn't go below 3000HH but equally i would be happy with 3000HH IYSWIM

anything above that a bonus tbh.

have been really glad of our high HH tents the last few years- never had a days leakage.

i agree...

i would never buy below 3000 (but at the same time am happy with 3000)

Argos Tents are 2000 - and they leak!

Ours is 4000 and never let a drop in throughout several Bank Holiday deluges. I wouyld never go below 3000 looking at friends tents in storms.

Aparently army tents are 1500HH??
