Folding camper question?

We bought a folding camper in september and have been away for 2 weekends in it which were fantasitc, we have just booked some weekends away and 2 weeks hols, was just wondering what you do for security as when we went for the wkend we left it open (cos it doesnt lock), but when we are going for longer we will have more stuff so wondering how you can secure it - padlock maybe?

My uncle has a padlock on his and has had no bother.

TBH, just like a tent there's not much you can do to prevent a determined thief (after all, anyone can take a knife to the canvas).

Never ever had a problem though. Obviously though common sense says don't leave valuables like expensive cameras lying about and then leave the camper...

i would suggest that buy locking it you are making any potential thief think that there is something inside worth taking
