Anyone been to Chateau des Ormes?

Hi,

Has anyone been to Chateau des Ormes? If so any info as to what it is like? As I understand it is big & busy but for us that is ok.

Any info at all would be helpful, thanks.

We went there about five years ago and absolutely loved it.

Lots to do for all ages and it's such a beautiful place with plenty of space to relax if you don't want to do anything energetic.

We stayed in a mobile home with two sun loungers and a set of table and chairs outside.

We went about 2 years ago, also in a mobile home. It is huge but plenty to do and quite a lot of space to do it in. Sadly we didn't get much of a chance and try everything as it rained so much.

We are booked to go in Aug this year, a treehouse for 2 nights & then mobile home for 8 nights, DH for some reason is now not so keen to go, partly due to money but I am trying to persuade him otherwise.

Just wondered what other people thought of it, bit worried about what the weather will be like, but as it is our first time driving abroad we were keen to stay close to a ferry port.
