where do you keep everything? We have all sorts of paraphernalia and have just moved in to a house with a garage (no insulation - just brick walls). Will it be too damp in there? I am trying to avoid cluttering up wardrobes and under the bed.

We keep ours in the garage. I'm a bit worried the sleeping bags will get damp but they seem ok so far. Am thinking of buying one of those huge plastic boxes to keep it all in, but they're not cheap.

I keep sleeping bags in the top of a fitted wardrobe - no loft, have you got a loft?

Tent needs not to get damp really.

Other stuff such as stove etc should be Ok in garage I think?

In plastic boxes on wheels in the cellar and under beds and ontop of wardrobes

i keep some stuff in the big cuopboard under my stairs...
and other stuff in my 'outhouse'

thanks... I like the suggestion of plastic boxes. All the bits are in a suitcase at the mo except our tents. I guess they are ok in all weather so should survive the garage .

We haven't got up to explore the loft but hubs thinks it is just a small attic so we won't be able to store anything up there.

We've always kept our stuff in plastic crates in garage (not insulated either) and everything's fine. Just keep sleeping bags in the spare wardrobe and camping mats under the stairs.
