I would be interested in opinions about the weather at this time of year. I hadn't even considered going so early in the year.

We went to one in IOW a couple of years back called The Orchards - was very good.

I think we will be going back this summer.

We go at easter: decent clothing and you're OK

IoW pices sounds about right, we adore IoW

I'd also suggest Broadway House in Cheddar as firring your criteria- beat play area ever

pssst, eleanorsmum...... take no notice of Clarissimo. She's hardcore and wears heated knickers so she can camp in January.

hmm did think we might be a bit mad, maybe we should wait and see what the weathers doing and then book last minute! We we're planning on having an electric hook up so daft question time, can you use electric blanket on an airbed? or will it melt.....................

diet - yes thats the one i saw and liked. do they usually get booked up fully for holiday times?

have you looked on ukcampsire website (google it)

its a camping forum and you can see everyones reviews from real people who have stayed in the sites recently

Clarissimo · 13/01/2009 20:10

they get booked up fully for later holidays but easter varies I think

(a compromise is to pop a pay on arrival deposit on a cheap but nice site- eg forest holidays christchurch- then you have it but won't cry too much if you cant face it iyswim
