Camping for wimps - any french sites with um, a restaurant?

Sorry, am thinking about camping, an dhave just looked up a few links from previous enquiries, which look great (esp the caravans) but there seem to be just teh tent, and the pool. Are there any places which also have a small restaurant, or which are within walking distance of a town to get dinner? I'm only looking for a kiddie friendly place with chips and pizza, are these available?

Whereabouts in France?

Most french campings are very well equipped in terms of shopping for food and a cafe / restaurant.

We stayed in Chamonix and Provence over the summer. The camping Moliasses in Cham has a lovely (and reasonably priced / huge portions) restaurant + a pizza van nearby and is also walking distance from town.

In Provence we stayed at camping La Domaine de la Bergerie just outside Vence. As well as a nice restaurant / takeaway it has swimming pool and ping pong tables, which were popular with the kids and generally a safe family atmosphere. It's a bit of a schlep into town, but there are cheap buses or its a quick drive if one of you doesn't mind being taxi.
