what supermarket do youprefer

The supermarket where we are going this summer is a Super-U, so there's no real option (although there is a Leclerc about 45 minutes away). If it isn't raining too badly we'll try to hit the markets, though.

We usually holiday in Bordeaux but we didn't go this year.

Geneally, I'm a Leclerc girl, but I preferred Champion. It got taken over by Carrefour or something similar last year and I really missed my Champion...

I loved Monoprix in Paris this year. Sooo lovely! I've never seen an Auchan, but will keep an eye out now..

We used them all depending on which town we were in when we needed to buy stuff. Some better than others. E l'clerc better for fresh I think. We also found one called SHOP - bit small and expensive, more like a small co-op. We only went there once.

The closest this year was a leClerc so used that - plenty of cheap drinakble wine therefore ok
like intermarche and carrefour as well.
