first camping trip ever next week, we are going to france
originally we thought about eating out every night but that would take up a huge chunk of our budget so going to take a lot of things from home, only problem is because i have never done this before i have no idea if i am thinking along the right lines
we will prob still eat out twice so i need easy meals for the other 5 nights, i really dont "do" faffing iykwim so want it all to be easy peasy.
ideas are
1/ dried pasta and lloyd grossman sauce.
2/ tinned chicken curry and boil in the bag rice
3/ tinned casserole of some sort with tinned pots and veg (can be heated together?)
4/ some couscous or savory rice thing
do these all sound ok for cooking on a 1 ring gas thing?
also is tinned food ok because i have never tried it before should i go to m&s and hope i get something that tastes better or is the stuff in tesco ok.
we were going to take some of those breakfast in a tin things so we can still have our nice sunday brekkie.
also what should i be taking for cooking for 2 adults and 2 children. i thought 4 plates,4 bowls, cuttlery, tin opener, couple of large serving/wooden spoons, wash bowl and 2 pans (i medium size and 1 frying pan) anything else?
