So we have the first two weeks off in August designated for camping.
I have 3 nights booked at a campsite in suffolk and then we have bravely/foolishley decided to play it by ear and go camp where the mood takes us. I have a sort of plan of heading north, maybe a few nights in Linconshire and then up to Yorkshire and then across back to Cheshire.
Anyway I have not booked anything.
Dh and I have pretty much decided that the big camsites (pools/bars/water gymnastic sessions/red squirrel petting etc) are not for us. We would like a field with a view, a loo, maybe a shower and possibly a swing.
Should we join the friendly club?
How does it work with booking the small sites?
Is it worth it? We will be camping again in sept & october (bastard british weather permitting).
