What do babies sleep in when camping?

I am taking my 14-week-old twins camping in Somerset in August. Can they sleep in the grobag-type sleeping bags they sleep in at home or do they need something special?

Yes, but they may get cold arms. Take some little cardi's/jackets to put on over the sleeping bags

I use the sleeping bag of my Phil an Teds, with fleecy walk-in sleepers over the normal jamas.

With my ds i use 2.5 tog sleeping bag over pjs and a quilt over that as it does get nippy although 14 wks might be a bit young for a quilt. Make sure you bring lots of warm clothes as it really does get cold. We also take the travel cot so ds isn't lying on the ground. Have fun.

yes the travel cot. We put the mattress pad on it then a fleece-lined coverlet then the fitted sheet, so there is no coldness coming from the floor.
