Any one know of a nice campsite (ie spotless loos!) near Kendal in the Lakes? Weather looks ok for sat/sun so just looking for an overnight stay. Have looked on UK campsite, but wondered if any MNers had any 'secret sites'!!

There's a nice one in Sedbegh, not far from Kendal, will try to find out the name for you.

There's a really nice one at Wray Castle at Ambleside, but that's not exactly near Kendal!

try the villages nearby - Dent, Staveley, Ings. I have a friend who goes to a very basic site in Whittington, probably 20mins or so towards the Dales.
