DH has proudly come home with one as I need to spend one night in a pup tent before he and the children join me the following night. He has already bloody opened it so I can't take it back.

How crap and wet will I get?

It's only 1 night, I suppose, but we will be camping for 4 nights in total so I will be plenty pissed off if my gear gets soaked.

I'm quite pissed off as the local camping shop had some very nice, decent ones for £30 but we are quite skint so can't afford it as well.

ah, my dad brought one for himself and he says its great. But, he is a stubborn man, and wouldn't tell you if it wasnt great.

Looks like I'll be buying more than £10 worth of tent dsealant spray just to be on the safe side.

It is so tiny and light I cannot believe it. I'd be better off in a chuffing wendy house!

we bought one of those cheap tents for a tenner, and we sort of got it for the kids to mess about in as it was bigger and cheaper than a play tent. but, as it happens we have used it for many camping nights and its been absolutely fine. so good luck with yours!
