Hello! yes we do have 3 We have the old style 3 second one which is like this one and a 2 second air which was reduced in our local store a couple of weeks ago to £27 which is this one

We are using them for a couple of overnight stops in France with dh and I in one and the dd's facing us in the smaller one.

I reckon that you'd get all 3 of you in the 3 second one easily - we could sleep all 4 of us in it, but as we use airbeds they take up too much room - self inflating mats would be no problem.

Do you have a store nearby that you go and check them out?

No we do only have 2 not 3 - that would be tent-greed!

I'd have to drive a little, but I would make that sacrifice!

I'm thinking of getting the Base seconds, and if we like it, might get the 3 second to 'add on'

I love my outwell, but it is too big for weekenders.

I thought that the mats would cut down on space as well as faff, our camp cots are fab, but take time to put up and take down, great for 2 weeks in france, but not really practical for a weekend away

You do need to get the bedroom inside as well if you are getting the Base Seconds - the basic tent has no inner groundsheet here

I do like the way that they all 'slot' together though - we have a tarp that we might use as a bridge between the 2 tents.

If you have a look at the video you can see how they all fit together.

lovely to chat to you about boring old camping stuff again btw.x

Ditto.

I like the modular aspect of this system, and I can see that it would be a huge advantage to me to have a tent that I can pitch in 5 minutes. Who knows, it could even take over from the outwell in my heart [heresy emoticon needed]

we have the 3, base seconds on its own, seconds with bedroom (so high and spacious for just 2 of us) and a 3-man too for the kids. Love them.

Only thing I was disappointed in the modular effect. They're not really joined, just sit side by side with a little flap from the seconds that overhangs the next one. It did worry me the first night cause effectively the kids are on their own and their tent could be accessed without going through ours. Then I remembered that all tents are just a bit of canvas so I shouldn't be that stupid!
