Family of 3 air bed recommendations?

We are new campers, and have bought a 4 man tent with porch for a two night camping festival soon.
2 adults and a 9 year old.
What should we get for sleeping on?
3 x single airbeds?
1 x kingsize airbed?
a double and a single?!
Self inflating or pump up ones?
it’s a minefield 🙈🤣

Don't know about airbeds, but I have a foamy thing called a Slothie (Google it). So comfy. You could use it on a ground sheet instead.

Self inflating good quality thick mattresses are supposed to be a lot comfier than normal inflating airbeds, but they’re so large we can never find space for them so we just use airbeds. We’d have a double for us and a single for the child. But in general separate ones can be easier because someone wriggling on one half of the airbed doesn’t wriggle your bit. However, a double is usually more compact than two singles and you might need the space. Measure the space for airbeds - a 4 man will just have enough room for 3 in my experience!
