Khyam Ultimate Deluxe?

We are going camping with our two daughters in August, so have been looking for a tent.

We have bought a second-hand but pristine Khyam Ultimate Deluxe (burgundy). We paid £100. It has the footprint groundsheets included.

I was wondering if we have bought a good tent, as I can't find too much info, but know that Khyam is a respected brand. Did we pay the right price? Also any info or advice would be gratefully received.

we went to a camping shop yesterday to look at tents there. DH asked an assistant there whether they sold them as he rates them and they said no but the tents were in a different league so I would guess that you have got yourself a bargain.

We have a khyam tourer 600 I think, with the outside frame and no compaints for 6 years so far! I think we paid over £200 for ours new, so £100 second-hand sounds OK to me!

Thank you - it does seem like a bargain, but when you are new to the game it's easy to be pleased!

Khyam are VERY expensive. We've just sold our ultimate delux extended for 155 on ebay and was slightly frustrated as wanted 200 but there you go etc on ebay. Khyam are really good - why did I sell??? Cos we'd finally gone and bought a tent that was too big.

ooo yes. We have one of those. Paid £200 second hand for it about years ago, so you had a bargain. They are great tents
