Who’s camping Easter weekend and where are you going? What are your Easter camping essentials?

We've only camped at Easter once and it was fucking freezing 🤣

I have memories of going around 18/19 with friends and we drank a lot and were freezing so I’m worried about going that early in the year with children but also desperate to go camping already this year!

Unless there’s a dramatic change for the better in the weather pattern, I really wouldn’t bother.

No way, still far too cold for me. I’m definitely a fair weather camper.

I’m going this week. We have sleeping bags rated to -5 degrees.

Planning to make the most of it, but waiting for weather forecast.
My preference is out to Colonsay and Oronsay with my small tent and my bike, somewhere I have been trying to get out to for years.
But, if the weather does not look good enough for that (looking shoogly already) then I may well head to Royal Deeside / Braemar or Ballater instead as east is usually better weather, plus shelter in the forests for walks and bike rides. This would be in my small campervan.

I don’t mind the cold so much but the damp air in the evenings is less enjoyable and even on a find morning it’s harder to get the tent bone dry to pack away.
