Quiet campsite in Cornwall

We're hoping to head off to Cornwall this summer.

We have been looking around the western tip (Sennen, St Just etc). We would be prepared to look at other places though. We know Cornwall quite well but have never camped.

We would like somewhere clean and tidy, quiet, with a bit of space but no club/pub. We would also wish to avoid anywhere too dog-friendly! My five year old has already been put off by an experience with an over excited dog and reckless owner.

Any ideas?? Tower Park has been suggested

We are going to Lower Treave Farm which I sounds what you want, and is 10 minutes from Sennen. However, I would start phoning round now if you wnat to book for this summer as they book up very quickly.Have look on www.ukcampsite.co.uk - really fab for finding sites and lots of reviews.

I've stayed at Boscrege which was very quiet for the last couple if years - I think they allow dogs but only on the lead. However it may be too far away for you, it is close to Praa Sands (which I recommend as a family friendly beach) and Penzance.

The only reason we're not going back is we're going closer to Padstow this year for a change.

the search facility on Mn is very useful

We are going to a tiny certificated location on a farm close to Porthcurno, join the caravan club.
