I've been trawling through the ukcampsite section on Cornwall and there are too many to choose from, so I thought I'd ask you ladies.

We like fairly quiet campsites rather than the disco/bar type. Any ideas?

We've ended up in Devon - told FIL who was booking we'd like to go to Dorset but he could only remember it started with a D!

Anyway, in my search I came across this which might be helpful in your search.

Are you looking for traditional sites with tents/tourers or holiday park type sites with bar/restaurant/entertainment/pool etc?

altho I note you're not keen on the disco bar type so maybe that question is already answered!

is anywhere in cornwall okay or are you keener on different areas? coastal or inland?

I'll do some searches and pop back with some links for you.....

There is a lovely one called Dennis Cove, overlooking the camel estruary at Padstow.

www.ruthernvalley.com/index.htm haven't been here but looks lovely.....

www.beachside.co.uk/index.htm this a great location but is more of a resort park.

www.hendra-holidays.com/ H stayed here in May, I think it's a fairly standard resort type park.

if you'd be interested in Devon I would go for Croyde www.bayviewfarm.co.uk/camping_holidays.html this is a fabulous site and lovely location.

we are going here

I used to go HERE as a kid with my nan and grandad its only a short walk from the main seafront and arcades and things but its very secluded and old fasioned, theres only the toilet/shower blocks, a small park and the campsite shop where you buy your essentials and gas bottles.

I have many a great memory from there

Bay View Farm in Looe is lovely, the couple that own it also keep shire horses which I loved. Tis a bit exposed but stunning views.
