What toys etc to take on a eurocamp style holiday?

Going away 1 week today (woo hoo!) and trying to rationalise the amount of crap toys etc to take with us. Goes without saying that usual outdoorsy stuff eg scooters, bucket and spade, rollerskates etc sorted.

Ideas so far:

DD1 (5.1) leapster thingy, activity books, push out dress up doll type books, barbie and a couple of bits

DD2 (2.9) tea set, doll and couple of bits, sticker/colouring books

Ds (13mths) few cars, little people bits, couple small electronic toys eg phone

Do you think that will be enough? Hoping to borrow a dvd player for n car so will take some fave films too.

Obviously, plan is for glorious sunny days spent on beach, at pool, at local markets and other days out - but we are going to Brittany!!

Each DC has a small backpack, which I fill with a pencil case (crayons, scissors, glue stick), a comic, activity book, a new small toy eg my little pony/power ranger and any bits & bobs that might be useful - binoculars, magnifying glass

Small box of lego

favourite cuddly toy

Then they spend thir holiday money on playmobil, and I buy a ream of cheap paper, buckets and spades, fishing nets in the supermarket when we arrive.

Plus anything else they can pester us into getting whilst out and about, and the freebies in ice lollies etc.

Like the backpack idea! TBH, the girls argue like mad will share their bits, so I'll put a mix in each bag.
Thanks

I am pretty tough, from about 2 or 3 my kids have had ot pack their own 'toy bag' They each ghave their own backpack/bag which they are responsible for. When they were young (they are now 7 and 9) we used topack a colouring book and pens/pencils in each, then they added stuff.

Now adays they take DS's plus charger, soft toy, a couple of bratz and a couple of books, they never seem to nee much else. As a family we also take cards, yatzee, monopoly and scrabble!!
