The mountain peak is 721m there's some old abandoned places to be discovered and an abandoned train station, I got a Bible to start my mornings with the right mindset and evenings I do stargazing and learn about more plants and trees listen to birds is cozy, what can I add more for my camping trip?

I do journaling and it's lovely to have some time to just write some lists of what you would like to do next year, what you have learned from your Bible readings, prayer lists of people you pray for (if that's your thing), meal plans, books you would like to read, gift ideas, places you would like to visit. So many things you can do with a notebook & pen! And, if you are artistic, you can use the local scenery for inspiration and make your notebook pretty. I'm not artistic at all but use washi tape to add a bit of colour & interest but you really don't need to do either.

Learn about the history of the place, local folklore and customs, any food that is a specialty of that area?

Where are you staying - on this mountain or locally at campsite? More context needed.

sketching or drawing? a pencil and pad of decent paper should be easy to carry, and you can extend to a portable watercolour set if you want.

Where? What will the weather be like?

When I'm camping I find the actual business of living takes up longer than at home. I enjoy working though the list of chores e.g. fetching water, cooking, tidying the tent, doing a bit of washing and making a washing line, washing up etc...it's like playing house.

I also draw, listen to plays on the radio, take cards and a board game, take my camera and do some photography, read, have a campfire and cook on it, chat to my fellow campers and go walking and swimming. I love camping.
