Is it work buying a luggable loo? Have seen them for about £15 but are they much better than a bucket with a lid?

I have one that I got in Lidl for £30, and would not be without it.

You need to use chemicals, so it doesn't smell and its really easy to empty.

we got ours from argos 'campingaz porta toilet' bit dearer than the one above, about 60 but well worth it. we have four little ones, and they're up and down all night, but its never got full or anything, dead easy to empty, but must use the chemicals/disinfectant or it will smell

Is it not stomach churning emptying them? I have considered getting a camping toilet but decided that grotty campsite loos may be the lesser of two evils. Not sure if I can face emptying them! Does it not splash?! I would be the dozy one that managed to spill it all over her feet.

It's really fine emptying them. You un-screw a funnel and it goes straight down the chemical waste thingy. It doesn't even smell because of the chemical's in it. No splash at all.

I do have a wee only policy though!!!

ours is great, the bit that collects all the wee etc pulls out from the bottom and has a bit at the top that you twist to open it and empty the contents. we only use it for number 1's though and the chemicals you use with it mean it doesn't smell even when emptying it. I'm dead clumsy and managed to kick it a few times but its dead sturdy and all the waste is kept shut away in the bottom so it defo doesn't splash.

I thought it would be a waste of money but it was the best thing we bought, otherwise i'd have been trapsing through a dark field at least 4 times a night, with little uns
