Cornwall Campsites

DH and I are contemplating taking the last few days of the school holidays off together and wondering about a quick camp in Cornwall as we haven't made it down this year yet.

Any recommendations for a site that would have space and allow less than a week booking at beginning Sept?

Not fussed about clubhouse etc but like access to cycle oaths/parks/swimming (beach or pool) for the teens

You may struggle at short notice in the holidays. Do you want EHU, as non-electric will be a lot easier - there are many smaller sites and pop up camping fields that are more basic.

Haven't camped for years but there are some near Praa Sands and that's a lovely beach

Pentewan is a brilliant site.

Harlyn sands near padstow will have availability if their beach field is still open then

Tregarton Park has an excellent reputation. The pool is always heated, so your dc can swim even if the sea is too cold.

Or Mother Iveys next door.

they haven’t got their camping field open this year, but you might find something in the middle of the green. When we go then there’s a mass exodus after the bank holiday Monday.
