Vango SIM not deflating!

Our Vango Comfort SIM has been out for a sleepover at the weekend and now it does not want to be put away! It’s never the easiest to roll up but I can usually do it single handed (and just about get it in the bag). Now hardly any air is coming out even when rolled and sat on, and if left for a few minutes the air comes straight back in again. I’ve checked the valves and for any obvious leaks- but it’s rather hard to see/hear an inward leak- and don’t want to put it in the bath and risk water getting in it! Not that it would fit…
Any ideas anyone?

Hopeful bump- it seems to be growing daily and is taking over our living room!

We use a hand vacuum to suck out all the air before rolling it up. Does the valve need to be flipped? I don't have the Vango SIM but our SIM valve flips over depending on if inflating/ deflating.

Thanks, I’ll try the vacuum tomorrow, and now you’ve mentioned it I think our pump for the air mattress has a deflate setting so I could try that too. Valves definitely flipped the right way. Though maybe I’ll try them the wrong way just in case some sort of reverse polarity event has occurred…
