Cheaper Camping Holidays

I am sure you seasoned campers are aware of this but I was just searching for prices for camping holidays in France and tried Canvas Holidays.
Then I found another website for Canvas Life which looks like it is still owned by same company but the holidays were coming up at least £100 cheaper!!

hi stirlingmum, just had a look at the web site and they do seem cheaper but don't have much availability for when we go, mind you have already booked with keycamp so just wanted to compere prices.
Any way just ordered a brochere and stupid form kept telling me my email address was wrong??!! Had to slightly amend it to be able to sent form.

Canvas Life was formerly Camping Life, part of French Life. I have booked with them with my Tesco vouchers, and have been told that whilst Canvas Holidays is the parent company, Canvas Life will be operating their own accommodation, couriers and kids clubs. So not the same. Mind you all the companies (keycamp, eurocamp,Ian Mearns etc) offer a very similar experience. Worth checking them all out.

May I suggest using these companies to find the campsite you wish to book and then trying to find the campsite's own web site. I have saved 50% of a Eurocamp priced holiday by doing this. In a mobile home you will not get english sockets and the kids clubs may not suit, but these are the only two v v minor disadvantages I have found so far.

Apart from booking direct, the cheapest company is usually Matthews, they don't have many sites but are VERY cheap!

I always end up looking at this company but the online pricing seems to be down at the moment. They are a dutch company and when I was looking into it last year, they were far cheaper than the others.

Thanks Fatzak, that site looks good.

I have used another previously that was cheaper Here but I do find their webshite frustrating to use!!

Indignatio - I have done that before, gone direct to campsite. You can get much better deals!

Leisure Direction went bust a few weeks ago (my friend had booke dwith them , had her holiday cancelled and has had to rebook direct) I'd be inclined to avoid it for the time being.

Thanks Chippy - didn't know that!
