I will fly a giant windsock from it, (when i'm not using it to dry the laundry).

Was going to suggest the Scout shop but having looked on line, there's not a lot of choice, and expensive. We re-made our Scout flag pole ourselves last year. Think we just soldered a load of old steel pipes together and made sure there are lots of guy lines.

they ripped me off last year and refuse to acknowledge it. I would try one of the smaller flag companies on ebay, even though skyblue seem to have the monopoly there are others.

i ordered about £50 worth of stuff in april last year for the world scout jamboree in july. week after week they said it was on its way but it never was. i asked for a refund so that i could get the stuff elsewhere, never happened. I then had an irate phonecall while at the jamboree from my local post office ( small country village so they knew me ) saying she had had to pay for delivery of an odd shaped parcel for me. when i got back ( over 4 weeks late) i found the pole was smashed and useless. I sent it back but was told id waited to long!

i ended up having to shut down my ebay account as they bombarded me with negative feedback for 'being a difficult customer'.

never agan will me or any of our county scouts go to skyblue!!
