we’re are going to be inheriting my parents old Conway Challenger camper. It comes with a huge awning which is very cumbersome to put up - old heavy frame, thick canvas that needs to be pegged down. I’ve been on the lookout for a sun canopy (apparently one was manufactured for this make / model) but they are very hard to find.
what do you use for easy shade / shelter when camping? We’re in France so will definitely need it for shade, but also as a rain shelter out of season. We would probably be setting a kitchen and eating area in it as well. It won’t be able to zip to the front of the camper, but would like something that’s easily accessible from it. It will be mostly DH and I, sometimes also one of our DSs (in a separate little tent for sleeping.
any suggestions?
